Rho Recognized with CRO Leadership Award from

Leading Industry Publications

Research Triangle Park, NC – May 11, 2020 – Rho, a full-service contract research organization (CRO) with a proven track record of drug development success, has been honored with a 2020 CRO Leadership Award by leading industry publications Life Science Leader and Clinical Leader for the third time.  The company was recognized in multiple categories, including Compatibility (Overall, Small Pharma); Expertise (Small Pharma); Quality (Overall, Small Pharma); and Reliability (Overall, Small Pharma). Selected by key decision makers in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies, award recipients are recognized as top CROs in the industry based on their recent achievements and ability to exceed customer expectations.

“For over 35 years, Rho has provided outstanding clinical drug development services to sponsors across a variety of therapeutic areas, offering our unique team approach and ability to tackle problems creatively and collaboratively to make sure our clients’ clinical trials and programs run smarter and more efficiently,” said Laura Helms Reece, CEO, Rho. “It is an honor to receive this award in multiple categories and be recognized for our commitment to excellence as well as providing the highest quality services to our clients.”

Life Science Leader and Clinical Leader once again teamed up with Industry Standard Research (ISR) for the ninth annual CRO Leadership Awards to determine this year’s recipients. As a part of the selection process, sixty CROs were assessed on more than 20 performance metrics via ISR’s annual CRO Quality Benchmarking survey.

"In conversations with clinical operations executives, I have been told the CRO selection process can be one of their most stressful and time-consuming endeavors," says Ed Miseta, chief editor, Clinical Leader. "Anything we can do to help steer our readers to the partners that best meet their needs can help significantly reduce the burden of their search. That is why we are once again proud to partner with Industry Standard Research to produce our annual CRO Leadership Awards. The organizations being honored in this year’s program have proven themselves to be the top performers in Compatibility, Capabilities, Expertise, Quality, Reliability and Phase IV. We applaud these companies for their hard work in meeting the needs and expectations of their pharma and biotech clients."

Survey participants were recruited from pharma and biopharma companies of all sizes and screened for decision-making influence related to their work with CROs over the past 18 months. This level of qualification ensures that survey responses are based on actual involvement with CROs and clear experiential data. The top 10 percent of companies in each category were recognized as winners of a CRO Leadership Award.
