Creative Proteomics Launches Several Newly-developed Services for Protein Related Projects
Creative Proteomics, a leading supplier in proteomics and metabolomics services, has recently released several proteomics services to researchers. The service ranges include four: iTRAQ labeling service, label free quantitation service, SILAC mass spectrometry service, and TMT proteomics service.

SILAC-based quantitative proteomics (SILAQ) is an innovative technique for high-throughput quantitative analysis of large protein complexes, protein-protein and protein-small molecule interactions. Creative Proteomics' SILAC mass spectrometry service provides an unbiased strategy that reveals the effects of inhibitors or other perturbations on protein dynamics and cell distribution. It can also be used as a sensitive and efficient method for determining specific interaction partners for proteins in cells.
Label free quantification is a method in mass spectrometry that aims to determine the relative amount of protein in two or more biological samples. Unlike other protein quantification methods, label-free quantification does not use compounds containing stable isotopes to chemically bind and thus label proteins.
